On Friday, November 8th,  ReSChape project hosted a webinar titled “Global Value Chains and social Policies, alongside our sister projects TWIN SEEDS and RETHINK-GSC”.

Globalisation has fundamentally reshaped trade dynamics, value chains and production networks – bringing both opportunities and challenges to the fore. Major crises and recent events, including “geopolitical instability”, along with challenges like extrem climate events or water scarcity, have further disrupted these chains.

In response, the EU-funded TWIN SEEDS, ReSChape and RETHINK GSC projects have been launched to explore how we can build supply chains that prioritise social and environmental sustainability, ultimately strengthening Europe’s economic and social fabric. During this webinar you can look at the latest research findings from these projects and explore their potential impact on EU policymaking.
